Pasadena, CA, July 2, 2024 – Inter-Con announced today that it has been awarded a new contract with the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada, the regional authority overseeing public transit, metropolitan planning, roadway funding, traffic management, and the public bike share system. After an open and competitive solicitation process, RTC Southern Nevada has chosen Inter-Con as its sole security services provider for both armed and unarmed officers. Under the 7-year contract, Inter-Con will be responsible for safeguarding RTC riders as well as key lines and locations throughout the broader Las Vegas area with a variety of services, including but not limited to security patrols, incident and alarm monitoring, escort services, traffic and crowd control, fare enforcement, dispatch and command center operations, and CCTV monitoring.
