Las Vegas, NV – July 19, 2024 – In an act of true heroism, the Inter-Con Security team successfully thwarted a bomb threat at the Centennial Hills Park and Ride, ensuring the safety of the community and aiding in the swift apprehension of the suspect.
On July 18, 2024, our vigilant Inter-Con Security team identified a suspicious package at the Centennial Hills Park and Ride, and immediately evacuated the area and utilized CCTV surveillance to assist authorities in tracking down the individual responsible for placing the device.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) determined that the threat was real, and our team’s quick actions were instrumental in preventing potential harm. A comprehensive sweep of the property found no other devices and the LVMPD’s follow-up inspection with K9 units confirmed the area was clear and safe.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the LVMPD, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), and all involved for their collaboration and support during this incident. We are incredibly proud of our team’s bravery and professionalism in ensuring the safety of our community.
