Chicago, September 16, 2022 – Following a public solicitation, the Chicago
Transit Authority has awarded Inter-Con its Uniformed Security Guard Services
contract. Under the five-year contract, Inter-Con will be responsible for
providing more than 300 Security Officers across CTA’s system, which serves
approximately 4.5 million riders weekly across its famous L Train and bus lines.
 

Inter-Con’s President & CEO, Henry Hernandez, noted “CTA’s Security Officer
contract supports one of the largest transit programs in the country.
Inter-Con’s distinguished experience providing community-oriented security
services to similar clients has positioned us well to serve the people of
Chicago. We look forward to serving the CTA, its employees, and the millions of
riders who use its trains and buses every year.”
