![Server room with rows of black network servers](https://icsecurity.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/servers.jpg)

**Effective Date: July 15, 2026**

## 1\. Purpose

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. (“Inter-Con”) respects your privacy and is
committed to collecting, maintaining, and using personal information about you
transparently. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to your use of
www.icsecurity.com and other services offered through the icsecurity.com domain
(the “Site”), your use of the Inter-Con Security mobile application, including
its field officer scheduling, time and attendance, and patrol/guard-tour
features (the “App”), and to information we may collect about you when you visit
our offices.

**By using the Site, the App, or visiting our offices, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully.**

Please read this Policy carefully before you use our Site, download or use the
App, communicate with us through the Site, or visit our offices. The practices
described in this Policy are subject to applicable laws in the places in which
we operate. By accessing the Site, using the App, communicating with us through
the Site, or visiting our offices, you are accepting the terms of this Policy,
which may be updated and amended from time to time.

## 2\. What Information Do We Collect?

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect several types of
information about you from a variety of sources, including:

- Like many websites, our server logs automatically collect certain information
  regarding your interactions with the Site, including through cookies, pixels,
  or other tracking technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) including your
  operating system, browser software, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the
  full Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) clickstream to, through, and from our
  website, including date and time.
- We also use the services of other third-party entities, such as Google
  Analytics and ZoomInfo, to help us log and analyze Site traffic, and that may
  result in our collecting and/or the service provider collecting certain
  information about you.
- You may choose to fill out the form on the “Contact Us” page on the Site. If
  you do so, Inter-Con will receive your first and last name, email address, the
  subject of your inquiry and the contents of your message.
- You may choose to email us through the email links provided on the “Contact
  Us” page on the Site.
- You may opt to apply for a position through our Site. We use the services of
  other third-party entities, such as Paycom Software, Inc. (“Paycom”), to
  facilitate such applications.
- When you visit our offices, we may collect your name, the date and times you
  visited, and who you were here to see. We may also use security technologies,
  such as security cameras, to enhance the physical security of our offices.

### 2.1 The Inter-Con Security Mobile Application

If you are an Inter-Con officer or other workforce member, you may be required
or permitted to use the Inter-Con Security mobile application to manage your
schedule, review assignments, complete digital activity reports, and record your
time and attendance. Depending on the features enabled for your role and post,
the App may collect:

- Your schedule, post assignments, and communications sent or received through
  the App;
- Time and attendance records, including clock-in and clock-out times and, where
  used at your assigned post, biometric verification (for example, a fingerprint
  or facial scan) to confirm your identity at clock-in and clock-out;
- Precise location data collected through the App while you are clocked in — for
  example, to verify guard-tour checkpoints, confirm post coverage, and support
  officer safety and dispatch. The App is designed to collect location data only
  while you are clocked in to an active shift; location collection stops when
  you clock out. See Section 13 (“Mobile Application Consent and Location
  Tracking”) below for more detail and for consent information.
- Digital activity reports, incident reports, and other content you submit
  through the App.

The App may be installed on a company-issued device or, where permitted, on your
personal mobile device (“BYOD”). The scope of data collected does not depend on
who owns the device — in either case, the App collects the categories described
above only in connection with your use of the App itself, and does not monitor
your device or your location outside of the App.

In addition to the information described above, we may obtain information about
you from outside sources, including information that we collect directly from
third parties, information from third parties that you choose to share with us,
and information from publicly available sources. Any information we receive from
outside sources will be treated in accordance with this Policy.

## 3\. How Do We Use Your Information?

Inter-Con may use the information described above for multiple purposes,
including:

- Operating the Site, including for Site logging, Site administration, Site
  improvement, internal operations, troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, and
  research;
- Communicating with you (including to tell you about products or services that
  may be of interest to you) and responding to your requests for information;
- Reviewing applications for positions with Inter-Con;
- Scheduling, dispatching, and assigning workforce members to posts, and
  communicating with you about your assignments through the App;
- Verifying time worked and attendance, including through biometric
  clock-in/clock-out where used at your post, for payroll and compliance
  purposes;
- Verifying guard-tour and patrol-checkpoint completion, confirming post
  coverage, supporting officer safety and emergency response, and coordinating
  dispatch while you are clocked in;
- Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and other legal requirements;
- Enforcing this Policy and our other policies and procedures and to protect our
  rights;
- Protecting our Site and operations against fraud, unauthorized access
  attempts, identity theft, or other unlawful activities;
- Maintaining the physical security of our offices;
- Protecting the rights, privacy, safety or property of you and others.

## How Do We Disclose Your Information?

Inter-Con may disclose your information in several ways, including:

- **With service providers and other third-party entities.** As discussed above,
  we may disclose your information with service providers or other third-party
  entities who assist us with operating the Site, the App, online applications
  for employment, website traffic monitoring and analytics, or other operations.
  This may include a client whose post you are assigned to, for the limited
  purpose of confirming post coverage and shift completion. Additionally, if you
  plan to visit our offices, we may disclose your name and planned date and time
  of visit with building security to facilitate your visit.
- **In a business transfer.** We may disclose your information with third
  parties as part of a business transaction, such as an asset sale, merger,
  acquisition, or other restructuring matter.
- **With professional advisors.** We may disclose your information with
  professional advisors such as auditors, law firms, or accounting firms.
- **For legal process and protection.** We may disclose your information to
  satisfy any law, regulation, legal process, governmental request, or where we
  have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such
  information is reasonably necessary to enforce agreements, protect our rights
  or others’ safety, respond to claims or litigation, prevent unlawful use of
  our services, or address an emergency.

**We do not “sell” or “share” (as those terms are defined under applicable law) personal information, nor have we done so in the preceding 12 months. Further, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.**

## 5\. Links to Third Party Sites

Our Site may contain links to other entities’ websites and services. We do not
control such third-party websites and services and they are not affiliated with
us and operate independently from us. We are not responsible for the privacy or
security of, or information found on, these sites or platforms.

## 6\. Tracking Technologies and Do Not Track Signals

When you use our Site, we and third parties use Tracking Technologies to collect
certain information about your interactions with the Site. Most browsers accept
Tracking Technologies automatically, but you may be able to control the way in
which your devices permit the use of certain Tracking Technologies.

Our Site is not currently set up to respond to browser-based opt-out signals and
does not currently change the way it operates based upon detection of such
signals.

## 7\. Contacting You

We may contact you using SMS, email, or application-based notifications as
described in this Policy or applicable contract between us and you or your
organization, including as necessary in connection with our Site, App, products,
and services you use. Unless you tell us otherwise by “opting out,” we may also
contact you regarding other products and services that may be of interest to
you. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for
marketing/promotional purposes.

## 8\. Data Security and Retention

We have implemented commercially reasonable security measures designed to
protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
However, no security measures are impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect
security.”

We retain your information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the
purposes specified in this Policy. Location data collected through the App while
you are clocked in is retained only as long as necessary for the payroll,
scheduling, safety, and client-reporting purposes described in Section 3, and is
deleted or de-identified on a periodic basis consistent with our
records-retention schedule.

## 9\. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Inter-Con reserves the right to amend this Policy at our discretion and at any
time. When we make changes to this Policy, we will post the updated Policy on
the Site and update the Policy’s effective date. If we make material changes to
how we use or disclose information we collect, we will use reasonable efforts to
notify you and will take additional steps as required by applicable law.

## 10\. Information for California Residents

### 10.1 Scope

This section supplements the information above and applies if you are a
California resident and we process personal information about you that is
subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). For purposes of this
section, references to “personal information” shall include “sensitive personal
information” as defined in the CCPA.

### 10.2 Information We Collect

During the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of
personal information and sensitive personal information (denoted by \*) about
California Consumers (including, but not limited to, customers, job applicants
and/or employees) through the Site,
the App, or another source:

- Identifiers (including, for example, names, email addresses, postal addresses,
  and IP addresses);
- “Personal Information” as defined in California Civil Code section 1798.80,
  subsection (e) (such as names, address, and telephone numbers);
- Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law
  _; Commercial information (such as records of services provided); Biometric information_
  , defined in the CCPA to include an individual’s biological characteristics
  that can be used singly or in combination with other identifying data, to
  establish individual identity (for example, images recorded on security video,
  or, where used at your assigned post, fingerprint or facial-scan data
  collected through the App to verify time and attendance);
- Internet or other electronic network activity information (such as website
  usage details, IP addresses, or the equipment used to access our network);
- Geolocation data\*, including (i) general location derived from your IP
  address or the location of the office in which an employee works or that a
  client visited, and (ii) precise geolocation collected through the App while
  you are clocked in to a shift, used to verify guard-tour checkpoints, post
  coverage, and officer safety;
- Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information (such as
  images recorded on security video);
- Education information (for example, if you choose to apply for employment with
  us);
- Professional or employment-related information (for example, if you choose to
  apply for employment with us or are employed by Inter-Con);
- Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a
  profile about a consumer reflecting, for example, the consumer’s preferences,
  characteristics, or predispositions.

_[Note: the Geolocation and Biometric bullets above now carry an asterisk (\*) because precise geolocation and biometric identifiers are “sensitive personal information” under the CCPA. Confirm with product/IT whether the App in fact uses biometric clock-in before finalizing.]_

### 10.3 Personal Information Disclosed For A Business Purpose

Inter-Con may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business
purpose. During the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the categories of
personal information and sensitive personal information described in Section
10.2 above about California Consumers for a business purpose (such as to perform
services on our or a service provider’s behalf, to confirm post coverage with a
client, or to detect or protect against illegal or fraudulent activity).

We only use and disclose sensitive personal information for purposes specified
in the CCPA or otherwise in line with your consent. The criteria we use to
determine how long to retain your personal information is described in the
section above, “Data Security and Retention.”

## 11\. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal
information. Please note that a number of these rights only apply in certain
circumstances, and all of these rights may be limited by law.

### 11.1 Right to Access / Know Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You may have the right to request that Inter-Con disclose certain information to
you about our collection and processing of your personal information, including
the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources,
purposes, and categories of third parties with whom it is disclosed.

### 11.2 Deletion Request Rights

You may have the right to request that Inter-Con delete any of your personal
information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain
exceptions, including where retention is necessary to perform a contract,
provide employment and related benefits, detect security incidents, or comply
with legal obligations.

### 11.3 Right to Correct

You may have the right to request that Inter-Con correct inaccurate personal
information that we hold about you.

### 11.4 Right to Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

You may have the right to direct Inter-Con to limit its use of your sensitive
personal information (such as precise geolocation collected through the App, or
biometric time-and-attendance data) to what is necessary to perform the services
reasonably expected in connection with that information, and other limited
purposes permitted by the CCPA. We currently use sensitive personal information
only for the workforce-management, safety, and payroll purposes described in
this Policy and do not use it to infer characteristics about you. To submit a
request to limit use of your sensitive personal information, contact us using
the information in Section 12 below.

### 11.5 Submitting a Request and Response Timing and Format

To make a Verifiable Consumer Request described under this section, you may call
toll-free at +1 (800) 439-5550 or email us using the contact information in
Section 12. We endeavor to confirm receipt within 10 days and respond within 45
days of receipt (up to 90 days with notice). We do not charge a fee to process
or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly
unfounded.

### 11.6 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing

Our current practice is to not sell your personal information for monetary or
other valuable consideration or share your personal information for targeted
advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

### 11.7 Right of Non-Discrimination

You have a right to exercise your rights without being subject to
discrimination, including denial of goods or services, different pricing, or a
different level or quality of goods or services, except where a difference is
reasonably related to the value provided to Inter-Con by your data.

## 12\. Contact Information

If you have any questions or comments about this Policy, your choices and rights
regarding such use, or wish to exercise your rights set forth in this Policy,
please contact us at:

## 13\. Mobile Application Consent and Location Tracking

This section applies to workforce members who use the Inter-Con Security mobile
application.

### 13.1 Consent to Location Tracking

Using an electronic device to determine a person’s location generally requires
that person’s consent under California law, including Cal. Penal Code § 637.7.
By activating location services for the App and clocking in, you consent to
Inter-Con’s collection of your precise location while you are clocked in, for
the purposes described in Sections 2.1 and 3 of this Policy. If you do not wish
to consent, contact your supervisor or Human Resources to discuss alternative
timekeeping or post-verification arrangements available for your role.

### 13.2 Scope of Tracking — Clocked-In Only

The App is designed to collect location data only while you are clocked in to an
active shift. Location collection stops when you clock out, and Inter-Con does
not use the App to track your location during off-duty hours, including nights,
weekends, or time off between shifts. If you believe the App is collecting your
location outside of a clocked-in shift, please report it immediately using the
contact information in Section 12.

### 13.3 Personal Devices (BYOD)

If you use your personal mobile device to run the App (“BYOD”), Inter-Con’s
collection is limited to the data described in Section 2.1 and occurs only
through the App while it is active and you are clocked in. Inter-Con does not
monitor your personal device’s location, calls, messages, or other applications
outside of the App.

### 13.4 Questions

If you have questions about location tracking, biometric time-and-attendance
verification, or your rights under this section, contact Human Resources or use
the contact information in Section 12.
