## Inter-Con is the world’s leading provider of premier security services.

Inter-Con Security was founded in 1973 by U.S. Army Veteran and retired LAPD
Detective Lt. Hank Hernandez and his wife, Bertha. From their kitchen table,
they invested their life savings with a clear ambition: to build a security
company that would distinguish itself by delivering uncompromising, high-quality
protection for clients whose complex threat profiles exceeded the capabilities
of traditional guarding firms.

Today, Inter-Con has grown to become one of the largest and fastest-growing
physical security and risk management companies in the world. Despite our size,
we remain 100% family-owned and are now in our third generation of Hernandez
family management. This structure ensures a deep personal commitment to our
founding principles and allows us to prioritize long-term, trusted partnerships
over short-term profits.

We have grown to become one of the largest 100% family-owned companies in the
world, achieving this growth entirely organically—winning one contract at a time
and retaining clients for decades. In doing so, we have intentionally avoided
the distraction of private-equity-backed mergers and acquisitions that dominate
our industry. We are proud to have received multiple awards for the quality of
our services, including being named Contract Security Company of the Year at the
annual Outstanding Security Performance Awards, as well as multiple Supplier of
the Year and quality recognitions from our clients.
